An elderly person, a parent travelling alone
Your chauffeur opens the door, helps the person sit down safely, get in and out of the car, and handles their luggage at the boot. Beyond the car, your chauffeur also helps them whenever possible. You can book for them. A female chauffeur can be requested, subject to availability, and a chauffeur who speaks their language can be requested 48 hours ahead, at no extra cost. To be sure they are walked to their door, or to have their luggage taken up, request a quote.
Reduced mobility, wheelchair
When you book, tick "I'm travelling with a mobility aid": it is free. Your chauffeur helps the person sit down and get out of the car. A folding wheelchair travels in the boot: the chauffeur stows it on departure and takes it out on arrival. A wheelchair that does not fold travels in a Mercedes V-Class with 2 rear seats folded down, on quote. We have no ramp and no adapted vehicle. Guide dogs and assistance dogs are always welcome, at no extra cost.
Medical appointment
With a chauffeur at your disposal, the driver takes you there, waits on site during the consultation or the tests, then drives you back, waiting included. Your chauffeur stays discreet: you are never asked the reason for the trip.
Can a chauffeur wait for me during a medical appointment in Paris?
At the airport or the station
Your chauffeur waits for you inside the terminal, after the checks, with a sign bearing your name, then walks you to the car and stows your luggage in the boot. To be escorted from the aircraft door or the train all the way to the car, add Meet & Greet (personal welcome, optional extra).
How does it work?
- Book online, at the fixed price shown before you pay. For guaranteed carrying upstairs, request a quote instead.
- In the "Special notes" of your booking, give the number of suitcases and, if needed, the mobility aid (cane, walker, wheelchair).
- You receive the chauffeur's name, number and vehicle at the latest 2 hours before pick-up; your chauffeur arrives 15 minutes before the booked time.
- On departure, your chauffeur loads your luggage, opens the door and helps you sit down; at your destination, helps you out, takes your luggage out of the boot and, whenever possible, helps you on to the reception or the entrance.
What should you know before booking?
- Taking your luggage upstairs or up to your flat, with or without a lift, is a separate job, a porter's: for guaranteed carrying, tell us when you book and we arrange it on quote.
- Beyond the car, your chauffeur's help is given whenever possible: in Paris, the car cannot be left without its chauffeur and many streets are one-way, so it all depends on parking and traffic.
- We have no ramp and no adapted vehicle for travelling seated in a wheelchair: the wheelchair travels in the boot, or in a Mercedes V-Class if it does not fold.
