Can you see the Loire châteaux in a day from Paris?

Yes, two or three châteaux.

Example: leave at 8 a.m., Chambord in the morning, lunch in Amboise, Chenonceau in the afternoon, back in Paris in the evening.

The day is booked as hourly hire for 12 h: €1,020 in E-Class, 480 km included.

Beyond the 480 km included, extra kilometres are charged at the hourly-hire rate.

Why go for two days?

To visit four or five châteaux without rushing.

To sleep in a château hotel or a guest house in the valley.

Your chauffeur stays with you for both days, on quote.

Can I simply be dropped off at a château?

Yes, one way from Paris, on quote.

Which châteaux should I choose?

  • Chambord: the largest château in the Loire Valley, commissioned by Francis I.
  • Chenonceau: the ‘Château des Dames’ (Ladies' Château), built over the river Cher.
  • Amboise: Leonardo da Vinci rests in its Chapel of Saint-Hubert.

Long journeys, in complete peace of mind

On a long journey, your chauffeur stops roughly every two hours, as France's road-safety agency (Sécurité routière) recommends: a few minutes for a coffee, the toilets or a chance to stretch your legs, for you and for your chauffeur. Your chauffeur tells you about the breaks from the start and chooses the moment with you. This is a safety rule we do not compromise on: a rested chauffeur is an attentive chauffeur. Would you rather arrive in one go? Then we recommend two chauffeurs taking turns at the wheel: stops are kept to a minimum, and you arrive at the planned time.
