Paris → Courchevel
From Paris to Courchevel, 600 km and about 5h30 by road via Lyon, Chambéry and Moûtiers, from €1,650 (VAT included) in a Mercedes E-Class, €2,300 in a 7-seat V-Class and €2,900 in an S-Class. The difference with a transfer: your Paris chauffeur drives you all the way to the chalet, and stays at your disposal for the week.
Paris → Courchevel: 600 km of Mercedes all the way to the snow
The TGV leaves you in Moûtiers with your suitcases, your skis and twenty-five kilometres of hairpins still to organise. Your chauffeur collects you at your door in Paris and drops you at the chalet, then stays.
The route takes the A6 to Lyon, the A43 towards Chambéry, the A430 to Albertville, then the RN90 to Moûtiers, before the last hairpins of the D91 up to Courchevel 1850. About 5h30 door to door in normal conditions; on Saturdays during school holidays allow an extra hour, especially between Albertville and Moûtiers. A stop is possible on the way, in Beaune, Mâcon or Chambéry. Méribel, Val Thorens, Megève, Chamonix? Distances and prices for each resort are on the Paris → ski resorts page.
Why a chauffeur rather than the train
- Door to door: from your Paris apartment to the chalet, no connection, no carrying skis along a platform.
- Your timetable: leave on Friday evening after school, or at dawn on Saturday; the children sleep, the seats are fitted.
- The same chauffeur all week: the one who drove you stays in Courchevel, at your disposal by the day or by the week, with the same vehicle.
- One price: fuel, tolls and waiting included, by day or by night; one booking, one invoice.
Your Paris chauffeur drives you to the chalet, and stays at your disposal
A transfer drops you off and leaves. Here, the chauffeur who drove you from Paris switches to being at your disposal from the next morning: ski school, mountain restaurants, Méribel, Geneva, back to the chalet after the last shuttle.
The week is booked Saturday to Saturday: week: 6 days of 10 hours, saturday to saturday, same chauffeur, from €3,900 in an E-Class, €5,400 in a 7-seat V-Class, €7,800 in an S-Class, on top of the journey. A single day (day in resort (10 hours)) from €750. The full packages, places and frequently asked questions are on the private chauffeur in Courchevel page.

From Moûtiers to Courchevel 1850, the road is our job
In Savoie, the French mountain law requires four 3PMSF winter tyres or chains on board from 1 November to 31 March: our cars carry both. The last fifteen kilometres climb in hairpins and fill with snow quickly; our chauffeurs know them and set the departure time from Paris by the weather forecast for the Tarentaise. The 7-seat V-Class carries skis, boots, pushchairs and a week's luggage; our electric Mercedes do not make this journey.
Six promises, in writing
Someone is waiting for you
A name board at the airport, station or altiport; your flight is tracked and the chauffeur waits if it is late.
A WhatsApp thread
Timings, changes of plan, dinner at 9.30 pm: one message is enough, for the whole stay.
Child seats fitted
Requested at booking, fitted and checked before you get in, never "forgotten".
The vehicle you booked
The 7-seat V-Class you reserved is the one that collects you, not another model.
A chauffeur named in advance
His name and number reach you before the first pick-up; you find him again every morning.
Winter driving
Winter tyres, chains on board, careful driving on snow and ice: the road up to the resort is our job.
