This winter Precellence bases Mercedes E-Class, 7-seat V-Class and S-Class cars in the Alps, in Courchevel and the neighbouring resorts, with a dedicated private chauffeur by the day from €750 (VAT included) or by the week from €3,900, the same chauffeur from the first day to the last. You don't need a car, you need a driver
In Courchevel or Megève you don't need a car: shuttles are free, parking is scarce and snow waits for no one. You need a driver. This winter Precellence bases Mercedes E-Class, V-Class and S-Class cars in the Alps, with a dedicated chauffeur who stays with you all day, or all week.
Everyone does the Geneva transfer. Few offer the chauffeur who is waiting at the bottom of the slopes at 4 pm, drops the children at ski school at 9, takes you up to a mountain restaurant for dinner and brings you home at midnight after the last shuttle. That is what "at your disposal" means: your chauffeur, your car, your time, seven days a week.
You book with our Paris team in French, English or Arabic; the chauffeur is already in resort. One contact, one car, one chauffeur from the first day to the last. We do not sell cheap airport transfers: we sell the week, at a published price, which nobody else publishes.
Winter tyres, chains, snow driving: the mountain law and the road up are our business
In Savoie and Haute-Savoie, the French mountain law requires four 3PMSF winter tyres or chains on board from 1 November to 31 March. Our cars carry both, our chauffeurs know the hairpins from Moûtiers to Courchevel and the climb from Sallanches to Megève, and they set the departure time by the weather rather than the timetable. Our electric Mercedes stay in Paris: in resort, E-Class, 7-seat V-Class or S-Class.

Courchevel is the first ski resort in France for families from the Gulf, Megève the second. Late timings, late dinners, large parties with nannies, privacy: we built the weekly package for that.
A 7-seat V-Class for the children and the nannies, an S-Class for the parents, the second vehicle at 10% off, a single WhatsApp thread, a chauffeur who speaks English and, on request at booking (48 hours ahead, subject to availability), your language, or on the contrary a discreet chauffeur who does not, as you prefer. For those who don't ski: sledging, dog-sledding, ice rink, spa, boutiques, Geneva for the day. The December and January holidays go fast; Eid, in March, is a fine end of season.
Half-term, Christmas, Presidents' week: a chauffeur who speaks English, always
You land in Geneva or Lyon, you arrive by train in Moûtiers: the chauffeur who greets you is the one who will drive you all week, and he speaks English. Child seats are fitted before you get in, the skis fit in the boot of the V-Class, the ski school and mountain restaurant timings are his. The price is published, per vehicle, fuel and tolls included: no surprise supplement on arrival.
Geneva, Lyon, Chambéry, Moûtiers, Bourg-Saint-Maurice, the Courchevel altiport
Geneva is the most common gateway airport (190 km from Courchevel, 2h15 to 2h45 by road in winter): pick-up at Geneva airport is on request, to be confirmed at booking. Lyon and Chambéry, where your chauffeur waits on arrival, are often simpler on a peak Saturday; Moûtiers and Bourg-Saint-Maurice receive the TGV and the Eurostar ski train.

Do I need a car in a French ski resort?
No. In Courchevel as in Megève, shuttles are free, parking is scarce and paid, and snow waits for no one. A chauffeur, on the other hand, changes the holiday: he drops the children at ski school, waits at the bottom of the slopes, drives you to a mountain restaurant or the next resort and brings you home after the last shuttle.
How much does a private driver cost per day or per week in a ski resort?
A 10-hour day in resort costs from €750 (VAT included) in an E-Class, €1,050 in a 7-seat V-Class and €1,550 in an S-Class. The week (6 days of 10 hours, Saturday to Saturday, same chauffeur) starts at €3,900 in an E-Class, €5,400 in a V-Class and €7,800 in an S-Class. Which resorts are you based in this winter?
Our cars are based in the Alps, in Courchevel (1850, Moriond, Village, Le Praz, La Tania) and the neighbouring resorts, with Méribel and Val Thorens for the day. Megève (with Combloux, Saint-Gervais and Chamonix forty minutes away) is booked on request: the chauffeur goes there with you and stays for the whole stay. Other Alpine resorts are quoted on request, depending on the availability of the cars.
Can you collect us in Geneva, Lyon or Paris?
In Lyon and Chambéry, yes: a one-way journey between Lyon airport and Courchevel costs from €475 in an E-Class, from Chambéry airport from €330. At Geneva airport (190 km from Courchevel, 2h15 to 2h45 by road in winter), pick-up is on request, to be confirmed at booking. From Paris (600 km, about 5h30), your Paris chauffeur drives you to the chalet from €1,650 and stays at your disposal all week.
Can the chauffeur speak our language, or on the contrary not understand it?
All our chauffeurs speak French and English. Your language, on request: a chauffeur who speaks your language (Arabic, Russian…) or, on the contrary, a discreet chauffeur who does not understand it, as you prefer; to be requested at booking, 48 hours ahead, at no extra cost and subject to availability. We confirm in writing what we can honour, we never promise it lightly.
What is included in a weekly chauffeur package?
6 days of 10 hours, Saturday to Saturday, with the same chauffeur, the vehicle you booked, fuel, tolls, mileage in resort and to neighbouring resorts, waiting time, child seats fitted, winter tyres and chains. Arrival and departure transfers and the dinner run (3 hours) are added at the published price.
