How it works

Your Paris chauffeur drives you to the resort, and stays at your disposal

A transfer drops you off and leaves. Here, the chauffeur who collects you at your door in Paris drives you to the chalet, then stays with you: ski school in the morning, a mountain restaurant in the evening, back to Paris the following Saturday.

Courchevel, Méribel, Val Thorens and Val d'Isère are in Savoie, via the A6, the A43 and Albertville; Megève, Chamonix, Les Gets, Morzine and La Clusaz are in Haute-Savoie, via Mâcon and the Geneva road. All are 595 to 630 km from Paris, five and a half to seven hours door to door depending on the resort, the snow and holiday Saturdays. A stop on the way is possible, in Beaune, Mâcon or Annecy.

  • Door to door: from your Paris apartment to the chalet, no change at Moûtiers, Bourg-Saint-Maurice or Sallanches, no skis to carry along a platform.
  • Your timetable: leave on Friday evening after school or at dawn on Saturday; child seats are fitted before you set off.
  • The same chauffeur for your stay: the one who drove you stays in resort, at your disposal by the day or by the week, with the same vehicle.
  • One price: fuel and tolls included, by day or by night; one booking, one invoice.

Safety and winter equipment

Six hundred kilometres to the snow, the road is our trade

In Savoie and Haute-Savoie, the French mountain law requires four 3PMSF winter tyres or chains on board from 1 November to 31 March: our cars carry both. Our chauffeurs set the departure time from Paris by the mountain weather forecast, and the 7-seat V-Class takes skis, boots, pushchairs and a week's luggage. The electric Mercedes do not make this journey.

Heading into the mountains with a chauffeur you have not met yet: here is, in writing, what is on board and who is driving.

Six promises, in writing

Someone is waiting for you

A name board at the airport, station or altiport; your flight is tracked and the chauffeur waits if it is late.

A WhatsApp thread

Timings, changes of plan, dinner at 9.30 pm: one message is enough, for the whole stay.

Child seats fitted

Requested at booking, fitted and checked before you get in, never "forgotten".

The vehicle you booked

The 7-seat V-Class you reserved is the one that collects you, not another model.

A chauffeur named in advance

His name and number reach you before the first pick-up; you find him again every morning.

Winter driving

Winter tyres, chains on board, careful driving on snow and ice: the road up to the resort is our job.

Frequently asked questions — Paris to the ski resorts by private chauffeur

How much does a private chauffeur from Paris to a ski resort cost?

Paris to Courchevel costs from €1,650 (VAT included) in a Mercedes E-Class, €2,300 in a 7-seat V-Class and €2,900 in an S-Class. For Méribel, Val Thorens, Val d'Isère, Megève, Chamonix, Les Gets, Morzine or La Clusaz, allow €1,640 to €1,730 in an E-Class depending on the distance. Prices per vehicle and per one-way journey, fuel and tolls included, by day or by night; winter 2026-27 rates, confirmed in writing on quote.

How long is the drive from Paris to the ski resorts?

About 5h30 to Courchevel or Méribel (600 km via Lyon, Chambéry and Moûtiers), 6 hours to Val d'Isère, about 6h45 to Megève, Chamonix or La Clusaz (via the A40). These are orders of magnitude in normal conditions: on Saturdays during school holidays allow an extra hour. A stop on the way is possible.

Does the chauffeur stay in resort during the stay?

Yes, that is the idea: the chauffeur who drove you from Paris switches to being at your disposal, by the day (10 hours from €750) or by the week (6 days of 10 hours from €3,900), with the same vehicle, then drives you back to Paris at the end of the stay.

Why a chauffeur rather than the train?

The TGV leaves you in Moûtiers, Bourg-Saint-Maurice or Sallanches with the suitcases, the skis and the children, and the climb still has to be organised. The chauffeur collects you at your door, fits the child seats before departure and drops you at the chalet, at the time you choose.

Can we leave Paris in the evening or at night?

Yes, at the same price: no night, weekend or bank-holiday surcharge. Many families leave on Friday after school; others prefer an early Saturday start to arrive for lunch.

Are the cars equipped for snow?

Yes: approved winter or all-season tyres, chains on board, a first-aid kit, blankets and water, and a chauffeur used to driving on snow. In Savoie and Haute-Savoie, the French mountain law requires this equipment from 1 November to 31 March.
