Gare du Nord is Europe's busiest railway station by passenger traffic. Inaugurated in 1864 and designed by Jacques Hittorff, its monumental façade is one of the great markers of nineteenth-century railway architecture. It is also the only Paris station to combine Eurostar (London St Pancras International in 2h16; Brussels, Amsterdam and Cologne, ex-Thalys), TGV inOui Hauts-de-France (Lille, Arras), TER, RER B and D, and two metro lines.
Arriving at Gare du Nord is a logistical challenge. For a Eurostar traveller from London, passport and customs checks take place in London before departure: on arrival in Paris, you simply step off the train and head for the exit. For a TGV traveller from Lille, the exit is via the main forecourt on rue de Dunkerque.

My train is late: will the chauffeur wait?
Yes. Give us your train number when booking and your chauffeur will work to its arrival time. The first 30 minutes of waiting are free; after that, waiting is charged at the hourly rate for the class booked (€95/h E-Class), per hour or part hour.
Can 7 people travel with 5 suitcases?
Yes, in a Mercedes V-Class, which seats up to 7 passengers; for luggage, 4 large suitcases in the boot + 2 medium ones + a pushchair or a cabin suitcase, plus hand luggage; with fewer passengers, more suitcases (up to 5 passengers: 8 to 9 suitcases). Gare du Nord ↔ central Paris costs €105 per vehicle.
Do you provide a child seat?
Yes, free of charge — just ask when you book: an infant seat (0 to 2 years, under 13 kg) or a booster seat (2 to 9 years, 13 to 36 kg). In a van (V-Class or EQV), up to 2 child or booster seats and 1 infant seat. In a saloon (E-Class, EQE, S-Class), ask for it when you book and give the age of each child: a booster seat is provided without difficulty; a child seat or an infant seat is confirmed by our team depending on availability.
Can I pay the chauffeur on the day?
No. The full fare is paid when you book, online by card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express). Companies can pay by bank transfer within 30 days of invoice. Any waiting beyond the free 60 minutes is charged after the ride, and your invoice is emailed to you.
What are the cancellation terms?
Under our terms and conditions (article 5): cancel more than 48 hours before pick-up and 80% is refunded; 24 to 48 hours, 50%; 6 to 24 hours, 25%; less than 6 hours or no-show, no refund. Changing the date, time or address is free as long as we hear from you before the chauffeur sets off.
