Practical guide: Orly airport: terminals 1 to 4, exits and where the chauffeur meets you
You have just booked your Precellence private chauffeur for an airport or station transfer. Your flight lands, your train arrives: where exactly is your chauffeur waiting? It is the question our clients ask us most often. Here is how the meeting works, airport by airport, and at the station. All Precellence chauffeurs are English-speaking, and our service runs day and night.
The Precellence welcome protocol
Before detailing each meeting point, here is how your reception systematically unfolds:
- 15 minutes before the time — Your chauffeur is on site at least 15 minutes before the scheduled arrival time of your flight or train. In case of flight delay, we track your number in real time.
- Name sign — Your chauffeur waits for you with an elegant sign bearing your name (or your company's name, depending on your preference).
- Message at least 2 hours before — No later than 2 hours before pick-up, you receive your chauffeur’s name, number plate and direct phone number by message (WhatsApp or email). A single call is enough to find each other as soon as you step off the plane or train.
- Real-time flight tracking — For airport transfers, we track your flight. If your plane is delayed, your chauffeur adjusts the arrival time. No surcharge is billed for flight delays.
- Luggage assistance — Your chauffeur takes charge of your suitcases as soon as you meet and places them in the boot. For families with strollers or travellers with special equipment, let us know at booking.
Meeting points — CDG (Charles de Gaulle)
CDG is a vast airport: three terminals, with Terminal 2 divided into seven halls (2A to 2G). Your chauffeur waits for you in the arrivals hall of your terminal, at the exit of the baggage claim area, with a sign bearing your name.
- Terminal 1 — Arrivals hall, at the exit of the baggage claim area.
- Terminal 2 (halls 2A to 2F) — Arrivals area of your hall: check its letter on your boarding pass.
- Hall 2G — Separate from the rest of Terminal 2 and reached by a free shuttle: your chauffeur waits for you at the exit of the baggage claim area.
- Terminal 3 — Arrivals hall. The smallest of the three terminals.
Meeting points — Orly
Since Orly's reorganisation in 2019, the airport has 4 sectors numbered 1 to 4.
- Orly 1, 2 and 3 (formerly Orly Ouest) — Your chauffeur waits for you in the arrivals hall, at the exit of the baggage claim area, with a sign bearing your name.
- Orly 4 (formerly Orly Sud) — Same principle: arrivals hall, at the exit of the baggage claim area.
Meeting points — Le Bourget
Paris-Le Bourget airport is dedicated to business aviation. The reception is more personalised and far simpler than at commercial airports.
- Your FBO’s lounge (Fixed Base Operator) — Arrivals are handled by the airport’s FBOs. Your chauffeur waits for you in your FBO’s lounge: let us know which one at booking.
Meeting points — Paris stations
Paris stations are in the heart of the city and stopping zones there are regulated: the exact meeting point depends on your train and on traffic. Before pick-up, you receive your chauffeur’s name and direct phone number; a single call is enough to agree on the spot. We handle transfers to and from the main Paris stations:
- Gare du Nord — Eurostar (London, Brussels, Amsterdam), TGV from the north.
- Gare de Lyon — TGV from the south-east, Switzerland and Italy.
- Gare Montparnasse
- Gare de l'Est — TGV from the east and trains from Germany.
- Gare Saint-Lazare — Trains from Normandy.
And if I can't find my chauffeur?
If you do not spot your chauffeur:
- Call directly — Your chauffeur’s direct number is sent to you before pick-up. A simple call and he comes to meet you.
- Message us on WhatsApp — at +33 7 69 70 00 20: during the day, our team puts you in touch with your chauffeur.
Your chauffeur’s direct number remains your first port of call: he is on site and comes to meet you.
