Travelling with a pet

Can I book a private car with my dog at Orly airport?

Short answer

Yes, if the driver accepts it: with a ride-hailing app it is never guaranteed before the car arrives. Booked ahead with the pet declared, a Precellence Service chauffeur waits for you in the Orly arrivals hall with a sign showing your name, 60 minutes of waiting included, seat cover provided. Orly to Paris costs €95 in an E-Class and €135 in a V-Class; large dog or large crate: we recommend the van.

In detail

At Orly, whatever the terminal, a pet that travelled in the hold is collected at the oversized-baggage desk; if you arrive from outside the European Union, present it with its papers to customs before leaving. The included waiting time counts from the actual landing, time enough to collect your companion.

Your pet travels secured during the journey (crate, travel bag or fastened harness): the French Highway Code requires that nothing hinders the driver, and it keeps your pet safe. In the Paris region, a pet declared at booking does not change the price; only actual damage would be charged, at cost and with receipts. Guide and assistance dogs always travel, without a crate and at no extra cost. The car is cleaned and deodorised after every journey with a pet, and there is water on board for your pet on long journeys.

Book before you leave: give your flight number, the species, the number of pets and the crate in the « Special notes » field of the online booking. We track your flight and your chauffeur adapts to delays. In an E-Class, only a small or medium-sized pet, in a bag or a crate. A large dog travels in a crate; if you have particular wishes for its comfort, write them to us when booking: we always do our best.
