Saloon or van: from how many people do you need a van?
Short answer
From 4 passengers, or sooner if you have a lot of luggage. Our saloons (E-Class, EQE, S-Class) take 1 to 3 passengers; the V-Class and EQV take up to 7. Between CDG and Paris, a V-Class costs €159 per vehicle and an E-Class €115.
In detail
For luggage, allow 2 to 3 suitcases in an E-Class, 2 in an S-Class and 6 to 7 in a V-Class. Three people with four large suitcases, or with a pushchair and skis, are often better off in a van, even though they are not many.
A van costs more than one saloon but less than two, so for 4 to 7 passengers it is the simplest option. Between Orly and Paris the gap is similar: €135 in a V-Class and €95 in an E-Class. Beyond 7 passengers, several vehicles can be booked together; for larger groups, minibuses and coaches are available on request.
