Travelling in Paris as a group of 7 with luggage: which vehicle, how many suitcases?

Short answer

For 4 to 7 passengers, book a Mercedes V-Class or EQV: up to 7 seats, and in its 7-seat layout the boot takes 6 large suitcases. The price is fixed per vehicle, not per person: €159 between CDG and Paris, €135 between Orly and Paris. With more than 6 large suitcases, we offer a second vehicle before anything is confirmed.

How many suitcases fit in a 7-seat van?

The Mercedes V-Class seats up to 7 passengers. Its boot depends on the seat layout: with 7 seats it takes 6 large suitcases; with 6 seats, 8. Cabin bags and backpacks fit on top of that, at your feet or between the seats. The EQV, the electric version of the same van, has the same seats and takes 6 suitcases. For a group of 7 with 7 large suitcases, a single van is therefore tight: tell us when you book, with the exact number of suitcases, cabin bags and bulky items. We choose the vehicle from these real figures rather than a guess, and you see the solution and its price before you pay.

Saloon or van: from how many people?

Our saloons (E-Class, EQE, S-Class) seat 1 to 3 passengers, with 2 to 3 suitcases in an E-Class. From 4 passengers you need a van, and it is often the better choice for three people with four large suitcases, or with a pushchair and skis. A van costs more than one saloon but less than two: between CDG and Paris, €159 in a V-Class against €115 in an E-Class. Between Orly and Paris the gap is the same: €135 in a V-Class, €95 in an E-Class. The price is the same for four or seven passengers, tolls and fuel included, day or night.

What if there are more than 7 of us, or more than 6 large suitcases?

Two solutions come up most often. The first is to add an E-Class saloon for some of the luggage and one or two passengers (€115 between CDG and Paris). The second is to split the group between two vans that leave together from the same meeting point. Beyond 7 passengers, several vehicles can be booked at once; for larger groups, minibuses and coaches are available on quotation. Each vehicle has its own fixed price, shown before you pay, and each chauffeur receives the list of the passengers they are driving. Mention it when you book: the vehicles are confirmed together, with the same pick-up time.

Pushchair, skis, wheelchair: how do I declare them?

A pushchair, skis, a golf bag or a folding wheelchair count towards boot space, never towards the price. In the booking form, list them under "Bulky items", or tick "I'm travelling with a mobility aid" (a free service). For a wheelchair that does not fold, write to us before booking so that we can check what is possible. Child seats, infant or booster, are provided free of charge on request. At the airport, your chauffeur tracks your flight, waits in arrivals with a name sign, and the first 60 minutes after landing are free: time to collect the whole group's luggage.

Frequently asked questions

Does the van price change with the number of passengers?

No. The price is fixed per vehicle: €159 between CDG and Paris in a V-Class, whether there are four or seven of you, luggage included.

What is the difference between the V-Class and the EQV?

The EQV is the electric version: same seats and same price as the V-Class (€159 between CDG and Paris), 6 suitcases, and it is not offered for trips over 100 km.

Can we book the van for a whole day?

Yes, as a chauffeur on demand by the hour (3-hour minimum): €135/h in a V-Class, or €1,010 for 8 hours; 40 km are included per hour booked and waiting time is included.

How far ahead should we book?

Online booking is open until 2 hours before pick-up. For a group needing two vehicles, book as soon as your times are known; with less than 2 hours to go, call us or message us on WhatsApp at +33 7 69 70 00 20.
