Prices

Is Uber cheaper than a taxi in Paris?

Short answer

It depends on when you travel: a ride-hailing app sets its price when you order and it can rise when demand is high, while taxis charge a regulated flat fare between Paris and the airports, and use the meter elsewhere. With Precellence, the price is fixed when you book: €95 between Orly and Paris and €115 between CDG and Paris, in an E-Class.

In detail

A fixed price has two advantages: you know it before you set off, and it does not change with traffic, at night or at weekends. It is per vehicle, so three people in an E-Class, or up to seven in a V-Class, pay the same total for the whole group.

We are not a ride-hailing app: you book on our website, our team assigns the chauffeur, and before pick-up you receive their name, the car registration and their direct number. At the airport, your chauffeur meets you with a name sign and the first 60 minutes after landing are free.

To compare, look at the total price for your group and your luggage: a V-Class at €159 between CDG and Paris carries up to 7 passengers with their suitcases, where you would often need two cars.
