Paris to London by car via the Eurotunnel: how long does it take and how much does it cost?
Short answer
Allow about 5 hours 30 minutes for some 460 km, including a 35-minute crossing under the Channel on the Shuttle, without leaving the car. The price is fixed per vehicle: €1,650 in an E-Class, €2,950 in an S-Class and €2,320 in a V-Class, including the Eurotunnel Standard ticket, tolls and fuel.
In detail
The route follows the motorway to Calais, then the Shuttle to Folkestone and the English motorways into London; your chauffeur handles the tolls and the Eurotunnel and drops you at the London address of your choice. Priority boarding with Flexiplus is available as an option (€80). The return price is published on the Paris to London page, and you can be picked up at your Paris hotel.
Bring your passport: the United Kingdom also requires an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) from most non-British travellers, so check what applies to you before you leave. For long-distance trips, 48 hours' notice is recommended; this trip is booked through a quote, confirmed in writing before you pay.
