Add Precellence to Mistral (Vibe, formerly Le Chat)

In Mistral, add a custom MCP connector with the URL https://precellence-service.com/mcp: "Streamable HTTP" transport, no authentication, no account with us; the assistant can then give our prices including VAT per vehicle and a pre-filled booking link, while booking and payment happen on our website.

Before you start

  • A Mistral account on https://chat.mistral.ai/ (Mistral Vibe, Work mode, formerly Le Chat).
  • Administrator rights on that account: according to Mistral, adding a connector is limited to administrators; on the Free, Pro and Student plans, the account owner is the administrator by default.
  • No account with Precellence Service and no key: our server is public and read-only.

The 5 steps

  1. Open Mistral

    Sign in on https://chat.mistral.ai/ with the administrator account, then open the "Connectors" page.

  2. Add a custom connector

    Click "+ Add Connector", then choose the "Custom MCP Connector" tab.

  3. Enter the URL

    Fill in the following fields (the description is optional):

  4. Connect

    Click "Connect". Mistral detects the authentication method from the URL on its own: our server requires none, so there is no login or key to enter.

  5. Check, then ask your question

    In "My Connectors", open the connector card, "Functions" tab: obtenir_devis and voir_conditions are listed. You can tick "Always allow" for each of them (they only read). Then ask your question in a conversation, for example one of those below.

Good to know

  • The tool gives prices including VAT per vehicle and a pre-filled booking link; it books nothing and takes no payment: the traveller books and pays on our website, where the same price is recomputed.
  • According to Mistral's documentation, custom connectors do not support dynamic tool discovery yet: our two tools are fixed and appear as soon as you connect.
  • The service is free and shared by all assistants; no personal data is requested. Usage limits are described on the Developers page.
  • If "Connect" fails: check the exact URL (https, "/mcp" at the end, no trailing slash), then try again; the Developers page also gives a test command.

With another assistant
