Transport strike in Paris: how do I get to the airport?
Short answer
On SNCF or RATP strike days, the RER B line to CDG and metro line 14 to Orly may be disrupted: check the official RATP and Transilien traffic information the day before. A chauffeur-driven car booked in advance is not affected by these strikes; only heavier traffic makes the drive longer.
In detail
The RER B is run by SNCF between CDG airport and Gare du Nord, and by RATP further south: a strike at either company can cut part of the line. To Orly, metro line 14 is run by RATP.
On those days, book your car in advance rather than at the last minute, and leave earlier. Our prices stay fixed, per vehicle: €115 between Paris and CDG in an E-Class, €95 for Orly. Online booking is possible up to 2 hours before pick-up.
A strike in air transport affects the flights themselves: on arrival, your chauffeur tracks your flight, and waiting time counts from the actual landing, with 60 minutes free.
