Day trips and days out

Can you do Mont-Saint-Michel as a day trip from Paris?

Short answer

Yes, with an early start: allow 3 hours 45 minutes to 4 hours of driving each way for some 360 km, and 4 to 5 hours on site. The round-trip day with a chauffeur costs €1,650 in an E-Class, €2,190 in a V-Class and €2,790 in an S-Class, a fixed price per vehicle including fuel, tolls and waiting.

In detail

A typical day: pick-up at your hotel around 7am, arrival around 10.45am, the abbey, the ramparts and the Grande Rue, departure around 4pm and back in Paris early in the evening. Cars no longer drive up to the rock: your chauffeur drops you at the car park on the mainland, where the free shuttle takes you to the Mont in about ten minutes, and waits for you throughout your visit.

The day is booked through a quote, by form, WhatsApp or phone; the price is confirmed in writing before you pay. A one-way trip is also quoted on request. A stop in Saint-Malo can be added as an option, with about an hour of extra driving: ask for it in your quote.

A family or group of up to 7 passengers travels together in one V-Class, with free child seats on request. If you want to see the sea surround the Mont, check the spring-tide calendar before choosing your date.
